PROGRAM DETAILS
Softball Batter Up is a modified softball program that teaches fundamental skills through a series of FUN and SAFE games for kids.
As Softball Australia’s national participation program, Softball Batter Up, is designed to be fun, flexible and engaging for children (ages 5-10), focusing on fun activities while learning basic throwing, catching, striking and decision making skills.
The program will be adapted for all ages and abilities using the Game Sense and CHANGE IT approach. Softball Batter Up activities align with the national health and physical education curriculum in schools, are written with the purpose of engaging children in physical activity and fostering a life-long love of sport.
Softball Batter Up 6 week program for kids aged 5-10.
Includes a range of activities each week focusing on having fun while learning basic throwing, catching and striking skills.
The cost for the 6 week program is $60, which includes a Softball Batter Up starter pack consisting of a Foam Bat, foam ball & backpack!
The cost for the 6 week program without the pack included is $40. Both options will be available at registration!

The Sunshine Softball Association was the first Metropolitan Association to be formed and affiliated with the Victorian Softball Association in 1956. Sunshine Softball Association is committed to providing the Brimbank and surrounding communities an opportunity to play softball within a safe and enjoyable environment. We strive to continually improve and promote our sport and its profile for all. This year we are committed to rebuilding from the grassroots level so our drive is through the Softball Batter Up Program to our local community offering a structured, fun program through our local schools and community groups. We have dedicated, qualified coaches ready to expose new junior players to our fun sport of softball in an affordable package for families.
